Welcome to Nourishing Minds Psychiatry
Integrative, whole person telehealth psychiatry

I’m Dr Ana Musarevski, a psychiatrist providing integrative assessment and management for adults.

I work with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD and trauma related conditions. I am particularly drawn to layered or overlapping presentations, where symptoms may not fit neatly into a single diagnosis and thoughtful formulation is essential.

My approach integrates evidence based psychiatric care with thoughtful exploration of contributing factors across mind, brain and body. Care is structured to move from understanding toward practical and sustainable next steps, supporting clarity, stability and long term wellbeing.
About me
I take an integrative, whole person approach to psychiatry, with depth, clarity and thoughtful direction.
Based in Sydney, Australia, I am a psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. I graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours Class I and have trained across public and private hospital settings as well as private practice.

I practise integrative psychiatry with a whole person focus and a deep interest in how the mind, brain and body interact. My work brings together medical science with broader perspectives on health and healing, grounded in careful assessment and depth of understanding. I am particularly interested in the intersection of genetics, nutrient status, hormonal and metabolic health, stress physiology and the gut brain connection, and how these biological systems interact with lived experience over time.

My approach is thoughtful and collaborative. I take time to identify patterns and contributing factors, and to draw these together into a coherent understanding and clear, realistic next steps. My practice is trauma informed and neurodiversity affirming, with an emphasis on creating a space where people feel respected, understood and able to participate actively in their care.

I remain committed to ongoing learning and the integration of emerging evidence into clinical practice. I am also interested in the meeting point between science and spirituality, and how meaning, values and lived experience shape recovery. This perspective sits alongside evidence informed practice and is approached with openness, discernment and thoughtful clinical judgement.

As a first generation Australian with Macedonian heritage, I recognise the importance of culture, community and context in shaping mental health. I aim to offer care that is attentive and responsive to each person’s circumstances, supporting informed and considered decision making.
I provide integrative psychiatric assessment and management for adults aged 18 to 60 years via secure telehealth consultations. I work with a broad range of mental health presentations, including anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD and trauma-related conditions. Care includes comprehensive evaluation, careful diagnostic formulation and, where appropriate, medication management grounded in current psychiatric evidence.
My telepsychiatry approach combines conventional psychiatric treatment with complementary strategies when clinically indicated. This may include functional testing such as assessment of nutrient levels, genetic testing, hormonal and stress profile evaluations, and gut microbiome mapping. Findings may inform personalised recommendations for targeted nutritional supplementation, nutraceuticals and selected herbal or plant-based options, alongside conventional management.
Management may also include discussion of evidence-informed psychological approaches, mind–body practices and practical lifestyle interventions to support sleep, nutrition, movement and stress regulation. The focus is on translating careful assessment into clear, realistic and sustainable strategies that align with each person’s goals, values and capacity.
